Jakob Hwang Memorial Scholarship
The class of 2018 has come together to create The Jakob Hwang Memorial Scholarship Fund. Jakob was a member of this graduating class who lost his life to cancer shortly after graduation. While at EC, Jakob was a “legendary” goalie for the boys soccer team and very active in faith based activities on campus. The goal is to reach an initial investment of $10,000 to endow the scholarship. Once the scholarship is fully funded, applications for the scholarship will be distributed annually to each EC junior class. Recipients will be named in May and the scholarship applied to their senior year tuition bill. If you would like to contribute to the Jakob Hwang Memorial Scholarship, please make an online donation at
or send your check payable to Elyria Catholic to the Advancement Office referencing the Jakob Hwang Scholarship.
Rehgan Avon, class of 2011, is currently serving as a Product Manager at Open Data Group. She is also a found of the Women in Analytics Conference. WA is hosting a large conference in Columbus this March. Click the link below to see her feature in a

You can also order from our
